However, it was never about being in the spotlight—it was about leading with responsibility and foresight to achieve success. This is a trait he has maintained to this day. His thoughtful and approachable nature has made him a valued point of contact in all departments. He stands for clear communication, engages in constructive and solution-oriented discussions, and advocates for what he believes in. Sports as a School for Life

Thomas has always been an active person who seeks challenges—both professionally and personally. For him, sports are not just a way to balance work but also a valuable training ground for teamwork, perseverance, and respect. His experiences in rugby and football have particularly shaped him—sports where fairness, discipline, and the overall performance of the team are crucial. “Everyone gives their best to achieve a common goal—that’s exactly what drives me, both in sports and at work.”

His commitment to the community extends beyond the office. For years, he has been one of the dedicated employees managing Oberalp’s holiday home in Apulia. Before each season, he travels there with a team of volunteers, organizing maintenance work, coordinating repairs, and ensuring that the vacation apartments are in top condition for colleagues. He never loses sight of the sense of community—barbecue evenings with conversations under the starry sky are just as much a part of it as the work during the day.

Curiosity and Growth as a Way of Life

For Thomas, standing still is not an option. He loves variety and has completed two master’s degrees alongside his job. For him, it’s not about collecting titles but about personal growth and sharing knowledge. He sees the bigger picture, thinks strategically, and is not afraid of challenges—as long as they make sense. This solution-oriented approach makes him a highly respected expert in his field.
